T_T Allies?

[Alecto]

I should probably stop making new threads in here XP

BUT in light of the current situation, Lec is gunna need some real friends *glares as Sa-Sa* as well as just general allies. Good candidates would be:

1) folks who aren't into Cel so much. (Alecto actually doesn't have a beef with Cel, really, but she does believe ol' Segwinner's suspicion that Mr. Prettymouth can't hold down the fort if the drow come knockin')

2) Garlanger/Sluagh sympathizers (callin' all you non-elitist faeries)

3) Random Seelie that might be interested in a court "restructuring"

4) Anyone that might be sympathetic to the gal's truly pathetic situation


I'm not necessarily asking for people to participate in subterfuge (yet), since Lec probably won't tell people what's going on (yet) and hasn't decided if she's actually going to frolic down the twisty road of treason. SHE'S JUST SO SAD AND ALONE. AND PREGNANT. ALSO THAT.

Though Jun has ultimately pledged his loyalty to Cel, he has the same misgivings as Alecto. That, combined with the fact that Alecto made quite an impression on him, Jun would most likely side with Alecto with whatever she decided - if reasonable. He knows nothing much of the Sluagh (save for the rumors) though he knows that Segwyn (or he suspects) was responsible for getting the tentacle monster off of Ren, and that the Sluagh do not seem entirely hostile, considering that they did not attack his brother, rather they just tried to remove him from the underdark.

REN:
Ren hates Cel. 'nuff said. Plus Ren seems to be the type to hang with the lesser fae simply because he's not cultured enough to make friends with more pure-blooded ones.

HALEY:
Haley wants the throne, that much is certain. She has knowledge that may be useful to Alecto, and Alecto has the means of helping Haley. Plus, despite Haley's brashness, she would probably get along with Alecto.

[Valencia]

*bounces up and down and waves wildly* Ooo! Ooo! Pick me! Oh god, PICK ME!

Val won't cause she's all starry-eyed for Cel, but Tadhg would totally be sympathetic. And he's a good guy, she'll have to admit it in the end. xD And also, they have good battle chemistry. ^_^

The more I think about an Alecto/Haley party, the more I like the idea. That should probably wait until baby pops, though.

As for the boys, Lec should probably meet Ren sometime soon. I don't know how much you LOVE posting with yourself, but a thread with both of them would be nice....when you get back from vaca, that is

EDIT: Alecto likes Tadgh already. So yay. We should do that soon.

I would suggest they do a margherita night or something, since Tadhg can do that sort of thing without seeming gay, cause he's just TOO masculine. But then I remember she's preggo. D:

Edit: I'm also curious as to who here is pro-Cel (and pro-Annette while we're at it). I want to try to piece together the high court and that is proving to be extremely difficult in both places.

Morgon and Eithne are pro-Annette. I feel like Annette is easier to get behind than Cel.

Jun is pro-Cel to an extent...Ren not so much. Namgil is pro whoever gets the job done. He'll probably like Cel, so meh.

Haley isn't anti-Annette. She doesn't really like Annette, but she does harbor some respect for her. So she's kinda like....neither anti nor pro but can be swayed either way

And I feel the same as Dema, though honestly I personally hate both of them.

Ayaena is very pro-Annette, but also a bit elitist... so maybe not the best sympathizer.
Namiko is neutral for the time being, but will dislike just about anyone who Ren dislikes for the sheer fact that they cause him annoyance (she's also very open-minded and would likely sympathize a Lot)
Reika is neutral but likes what the Seelie stand for (pro-Annette by default? lol), though I could see her being interested in this behind-the-scenes knowledge.
Kazuki is insane and will likely get a kick out of Cel in the near future.

Hal isn't anti-Cel, but if it sounds dangerous, he'll probably do it, just hit him up sometime.

Murdoch is pro-Annette, sorry Haley. Even if I like you a lot.

Alysia is pro-annette mostly, but definately not an elitest. More of if you deserve mercy then heres a hand, if you deserve death then could you please hold out your neck? A tooth for tooth, an eye for an eye. Anyway she so far has no qualms with Annette and is willing to serve her.

Dietrich...is lazy when it comes to politics, but if he was pro anything it would be pro-treasure....so I'm pretty sure you could bribe him with something of worth or importance (whether it be a nice blade or a new power just for example). That always lights a fire under his tail and gain loyalty. He's always favorable to those that give him nice things. ^_^;;;

Edit: Also Dema you could use always bribe Dietrich into helping you in some way. Alysia has a good heart a will be more than willing to help Alecto out in some way (even though their from different courts)

Tadhg actually isn't Pro-Annette even though he really likes her as a person. He's Pro-Seelie at the moment, but it's really one of those 'you have to pick one in order to vote' deals rather then having any passion behind it.

Valencia will be Pro-Cel all the way.
