I have -absolutely- no clue on how I first found Alanor.
But I've been in almost every version since conception and I was dragged back by you, Sky, who I can only assume knew to contact me via Kin/other peeps.

I followed an advertisement on Shaman, my other rpg. So yay advertising! It sometimes works xD

I found Alanor on a Harry Potter RPG, but it wasn't at advertising. It was more like this dude (Bryan for those who remember him) spamming the OOC board with the cool new site he joined. That was the summer of '02.

I don't remember how I found it, either. It was 2003, though.
Remember when I joined Croe and Riana was like, "here, have a human for a mantel?"
That was confusing.

It is so odd that the version before the hard reset was barely a year old. I feel like it spanned so much more time than that.

I was on Souls' (the other site I'm on) and I went to a rpg directory and found ya'll. Then I lurked for about a week before jumping into our kettle known as Alanor. ^^
