The Altar smelled of blood and sweat, how many souls had passed through here Eoghan did not know, nor did he care to know, the number would be unfathomable. He took a deep breath, the weight of the twin daggers on the sides of his hips comforting the warrior. His gaze passed over the inscriptions of the walls, the names of the legends who had earned Goblin Blades years before he had ever stepped foot in this place.
He shivered, as bumps ran over his pale flesh and his eyes watered slightly. His fists balled as his knuckles turned searing white. There were no garlangers to be seen in this hall of legends, no mixed blooded faerie had ever ascended to the ranks of Goblin Blade. It seemed ironic, that the blades forged from goblin metal were reserved strictly for the sidhe and their kin. Yet Alanor was a place of prejudice and hypocrits, Eoghan would change that.
The emerald haired pixie turned, his path towards greatness would start today.

The air in the Altar of Fate tasted of stale blood and Haley wrinkled her nose against the assault. Sweat and blood: definitely not two of her favorite smells. The metallic air left a sour taste in her mouth and for a moment Haley merely stood there at the entrance of the castle to let it sink in. It had been years since she had stepped foot in the castle. The first time had merely been out of curiosity and had ended up placing her in a not-so-favorable position. Since then the hand-to-hand combat specialized female had devoted her time to improving her defensive skills versus blades. While Haley much preferred the feel of a gun in her hands, the challenge of a blade was enticing and she was partially glad that Alanor promoted them.
As Haley started walking again Akuji fell into step beside her, his ears pinned back against his head though no outward aggression was displayed. He seemed unnaturally serious and solemn, unlike his mistress who was taking everything in stride. Her usual swagger was replaced with cool, confident grace. The smirk in her eyes was gone. Haley wasn't here to play. She was here as a first step towards her ultimate goal. Nothing would stop her from achieving it. Not even the pixie garlanger that now came into her view.
She didn't recognize him. At first she came to a stop relatively far from him just to observe. He was larger, much taller than she, well muscled and obviously skilled. A part of her admired this. The faerie she had met thus far in the Seelie court made her skin crawl. Their weakness and stupidity appeared to have no boundaries. At least this one seemed to have himself under control. His mental capacities? Well, she didn't yet know enough to make a solid decision on that.
Haley shifted forward once more and this time Akuji did not follow. Instead the dog slunk off to the far wall and nestled down to watch. The Nimbus watched him leave out of the corner of her eyes and smiled softly. It was times like these that she was grateful to have Akuji close by.
The smaller female stopped approximately fifteen large paces from the pixie garlanger, making sure she was well within his sight. She dipped her head in a greeting, thought for a moment, and then decided it best to at least offer a few words, "Haley. Seelie court. I'm going to assume you're not here to sight see. I would be more than happy to help shed a bit more blood in this place, should you feel so inclined." There was no cockiness to her voice, but her stance was self-assured. As a military brat Haley knew how to be confident but not cocky. Though normally quite cheeky, when it came to battle she was anything but arrogant. She understood her limitations, her weaknesses, and she knew how to compensate for them. That was the reason for her confidence, nothing more.
Usually, Haley's fiery temper often lead people to mistake her for an in-your-face aggressive offensive combatant with little regard for defense. However, it was quite the opposite. Haley reveled in her defensive skills that were nailed down from years and years of work. However, she had taken care to pair her defensive capabilities with offensive ones designed to kill, specializing in arts such as Tang-soo-do, the more aggressive form of Taekwondo, and several others. Battle had been a part of her life since she was a child, and Haley relished in her extensive knowledge. Still, her combat experience against long blades was somewhat diminished, so she was pleased to see that the male had decided to bring with him two daggers. This would be a close combat battle.
Haley's weapons were small and comfortable to use. Her left hand carried a pair of brass spiked knuckles, built smaller for her smaller hands, but never the less potent. Her right hand had a similar weapon, though a three inch blade protruded from the side of the knuckles, small but double-edged. Metal bracers, flawlessly smooth encircled her entire upper arms from right above her wrist to right below her elbows. Each of these bracers was home to two small blades that could extend via a small trigger on the underside: one the extend over the top of her hand, the other to extend from the underside of her arm and out past her elbow. She carried no other weapons.
In terms of defense Haley had very little. Her combat techniques required incredibly fast and agile movement, so her feet were adorned with technically what appeared to be a sole-less mid-calf high sock-like leather shoe. Rather, the bottom of it was speckled in rubber to provide traction and the area around her toes was reinforced only slightly. However, the upper part of the boot was solid leather that encircled her entire calf as a protector, much like the ones he wore. They were laced tight to avoid slipping. The rest of her body was clothed in black tights, a part of elastic dark gray shorts, and a black and gray tank top. Over the tank top was a leather sports-bra-shaped piece of armor, ending below her breasts and providing protection around her heart area. The leather continued downwards to cover her abdomen, but it is a lighter form of leather and split up both sides to allow ease of movement as well as providing just a bit more protection. Finally, an odd piece of equipment covers the top of each of her hands. Fashioned to four small leather loops in turn looping over her thumb, middle finger, pinky and wrist to secure it is a small metal plate. She uses this as a measure of blocking with her hands, though a similar piece of metal does not cover her palms.
Without saying too much more, Haley dropped into a simply Tang-soo-do fighting stance. The majority of her weight was shifted onto her back left leg, while her right leg was left lightly resting on the ball of her foot. Her right arm was up, her fist tightly balled, extended lightly outwards at an angle from her body. Meanwhile her left arm was more retracted and lowered, easily capable to protect all lower extremities. Her eyes focused in on the pixie as she waited, her invitation open and plain to see.(ooc: super horrible but I'm really really tired and this post doesn't matter that much.) Weapon recap: Left hand: ClickRight hand: Similar to this but also spiked and think more light weight..Both arms: Metal bracers w/ releasable blade extensions. One over the back of the hand that extends a bit past the knuckles. The other out of the underside of the bracer back past the elbow. Defense recap: Heavy leather sports-bra type chest protector with lighter leather covering the stomach, split up the sides. Heavy leather calf protectors. Metal bracers Metal forehand protector

”Eoghan, Seelie too.” He turned his gaze on the nimbus, lethargic. His chest rose and fell in a rhythmic fashion, barely audible, a low roar emanating from the chest. The breathing exercise he did before battle always helped him center himself, calm him down in the face of action and aggression. Eoghan was a purely instinctive fighter, as a garlanger he had no formal traning—nor would he have ever been offered any—but he still knew the value in a bit of order. The pixie’s fighting style was easy to describe, organized chaos. He knew not of his next actions, not where his next move would place his opponent, but instead watched his opponent carefully, never anticipating but simply acting upon the other’s reactions.
Eoghan watched as his opponent prepared herself. He too, prepared. Long, slender digits ran through the green tendrils upon his head, sweeping the nest of emerald sewn hair into a mass he grasped with one hand. He reached into his pocket; pulling a string of yarn he tied his hair into a loose ponytail. The garlanger did not have the fancy hair ties the queen possessed or the metal clips that most sidhe warriors wore, but he made do with what he had. He didn’t imagine his hair would be much of an issue anyway.
The nimbus drew the daggers. The weapons were somewhat ornate for a person of such low birth. The hilts were crafted from a golden metal, wrapped in a gilded material, a fabric of only a few large threads to add friction for his grip. The blades were not straight, but jutting at the center, eight inches of steel curving slightly until the point. In all ways the daggers were more like small swords than daggers, but still one got the point.
Eoghan held the daggers in his hands, becoming accustom to their weight in his grip. He twirled them and jabbed with them, slicing at the air occasionally. The garlanger’s technique seemed well versed with his weapons for with each movement of the blade a light whoosh could be heard, a sign of practice.
When Eoghan felt comfortable with the blades, he sheathed one, stepping back as he lowered himself into his own battle ready position. His position was not unlike hers, but had some slight variations. He held his dagger in his right hand, elbow up with the tip point at her. His other hand was loose, held across his stomach to protect the softer parts of him. He was crouched, stance a little further than shoulder width apart. He bowed, signaling that he was ready and once he noted her stance he was off.
In an effort to deceive her sense of depth perception, Eoghan didn’t move his feet, instead he let his powerful wings beat, propelling him forward. As he moved, his hand quickly took up a throwing knife from his belt. In a back handed motion, he flung the knife at her, leading with his elbow and flicking the knife with his wrist. If the aim was accurate, the trajectory true and the target unmoving, the blade that was spinning hilt over head would stick itself just above her collar bone, in the soft base of the neck.
As soon as he let go of the blade, he drew his second dagger, he wasted no time readying his defensive weapon.
Eoghan was not finished, for now his legs moved and he pushed off, moving towards her, even closer as he was now able to engage with his close ranged sword. His height already made him taller than her, but the extra inches his flight gave him afforded him with the high ground as he stabbed in an overhand motion aiming at the area between her shoulder and her neck.
He held his second blade across his chest, readying to sweep away any attacks at his lower section and parry anything aimed for his chest and face. Daggers

The little Nimbus watched as the pixie prepared himself. On any other occasion she would have found the green-haired creature distasteful, full of himself and obviously an egocentric. Haley had a distinct dislike for men with long hair. She found it annoying, a sign of narcissism, and the fact that Eoghan’s hair was green literally made her want to puke. Still, Haley felt literally none of that now. After the fight she would quite possibly laugh at his appearance, win or lose, but for now she was completely zeroed in on the task at hand. Haley was an incredibly dangerous creature when she was in the zone.
The moment he sheathed on of his daggers, Haley knew that he would be making a move for one of his throwing knives. There was no reason to leave one hand open, in a defensive position with no real means of defense. Plus, the distance between them presented Eoghan the perfect opportunity to use his knives, an opportunity he may not see again.
Haley immediately anticipated an attack on her upper body. It did, after all, present the largest target and encased her most vital organs. She knew not of where he would strike, but since the weapon was going to come from the left side of his body, she knew there would an inclination for the blade to mitigate towards her right side, exactly where she was positioned for ease of movement. Later, Haley would quite possibly recount her surprise to the pixie garlanger as he decided to start moving with his wings rather than his feet. It was a smart move, but not one completely unanticipated. Haley had known the moment she had taken this challenge that she would be at a distinct disadvantage height-wise. Not only did Eoghan stand many inches above her, but he was also adorned with a pair of gigantic wings that he could use to his liking. Still, his wings were so large that she had assured herself that she could use them against him. She was about to find out.
Haley’s eyes had been concentrated on his hand, and though she detected the movement of his body, she was more concerned with the knife that he let loose moments after his wings propelled him forward. Haley made no real effort to block the knife; her arm was not in the best position to do so, and she lacked the time in order to bring her arm back and around for a sweeping block. Also, the speed of the blade did not give her enough time to move, as much of her weight was centered on her back leg. She could lunge forward with ease, but at the moment she did not think that would be the best idea.
Instead, Haley performed the easier maneuver in the book: she ducked. The rotating blade missed its intended target as it flew past, but she was not without damage. Haley could feel the wind of the blade as it slipped past her, clipping not only a small bit of her flesh where her neck met her shoulder with its tip, but also managing to graze her right ear, literally shaving a bit of flesh off. The wound stung, horribly so, and blood now began to mingle with the bits of stray hair the flopped from her own ponytail. Still, Haley had no opportunity to think about it. He was coming, and he was coming fast.
Haley expected a minor delay in his movement as he drew his second dagger. Now that was more like it. In her crouched position, which she had not shifted from since the previous attack, Haley watched as Eoghan used his legs to propel him off of the ground, his large wings used to power himself forward. Haley’s face was completely blank as the Pixie bore down on her, using his height and wings as the advantages he had obviously come to realize. Her responding movements were very simple, but fluid and quick, her years of training in gymnastics and martial arts paying off all in a single instant.
Eoghan’s blade was coming in a downwards stab towards her, which meant he had the blade gripped in a position that would make it very hard for him to slash from side to side. He would be only able to continue downwards and even that motion would have its limits, especially since she was already crouched. Unfortunately Haley’s head was in danger of being pierced, though her next action elevated this threat as she darted at an angle from her position and to his right. His attack would essentially miss its intended target, instead biting into the back of her left shoulder and traveling down the backside of her upper arm, leaving a clean, one-fourth inch deep incision halfway down her arm. Haley paid this no attention. Her concentration was entirely set on her first round of attacks.
Eoghan’s legs would be of concern, since he could easily kick out at her, which is why she had moved at an angle. At the same time, the fact that he had no feet on the ground would significantly lower the amount of force he could use if he did decide to kick, so she wasn’t particularly worried. The fact that he had used his right-handed weapon to stab at her left him with limited ability to shift the way the blade was held in his hand so that he could effectively defend his left side. His only options would be up and down, lest he change his grip, and the precious moments it would take him to do so would be well used by her.
His other weapon was used as a defense, but the male seemed to fail to realize that the added boost he had given himself had offered Haley clean access to his legs. Yes, his eight-inch dagger would offer him some room for defense, possibly around the majority of his thighs and even to his knee, but that was if she were attacking from the front. No, she had stepped to the side, a very common move used in Tangsoodo when confronting an enemy coming directly at you. She now stood to his right side, which was left mostly unguarded. In one very quick movement, almost simultaneous with her diagonal move to his side, Haley rotated her body and punched with her right hand directly where his kidney would commonly be located. Her punch would be slightly off, a bit move to his side rather than in the back where access to the kidney was easiest. Still, his slight levitation gave her better access to it as she straightened out and into her punch.
With a flash she had rocked back onto her stable left foot, using it to propel herself even further to the side and back behind him. The one hindrance of his wings was their size. Since he was suspended in air, not only would he have to land, but, at this point, his momentum born from his wings was quite possibly carrying him past her quickly. He would be hard pressed to stop on a dime. Haley imagined the stop would include him landing and flaring his wings to stop his momentum, much as a bird did when it was settling to land. It would then take him some time to turn to meet her, hindered also by his body size in comparison to hers. Haley would take complete advantage of the target offered to her. In one fluid movement her right hand would dart out, her fist changing so that her blade was facing outwards, not her knuckles, a downward slash given towards the exposed back of his right wing. She was merely attempting a cut from her face height to about her hip, at a very slight slant to avoid slicing straight up and down, on the backside of his right wing which she figured would be flared (her attack would remain the same even if the wing were not flared, she would just have a more compact target). Even if she failed to catch flesh, Haley was content to maim the feathers to hinder his use of them in the future.
Haley remained poised on her toes to retreat if need be, but the likelihood is that she would move as he moved, keeping herself positioned as far behind him as possible so that he would have to reach quite a bit more to reach her. Her right hand would retract after attacking, her left hand already maintaining its defensive position of her lower body, the right arm still ready and able to defend the upper body should the need arise. That was precisely the reason she had not extended her attempted cut any further. Haley would remain the close proximity to her opponent, though she was wary of his wings and strayed a bit further from them. Close was where she worked best.
Summary of Damage -Knick on the right side of her neck, where neck meets shoulder. -Part of her ear skin shaved off from passing blade -Shallow cut from her shoulder, down the back of upper left arm, halfway down.
Summary of Attacks -Punch with right hand to Eoghan’s right kidney area. A bit off from the kidney since she’s not in the best position for it, so a bit more to his side. Punch is strong, should puncture leather. -Downward slash with right blade, at a slight angle, to Eoghan’s right wing. Approximately 1 ½ foot in length of slash.

There is no way I'm going to be able to post tonight. I'm sapped from a long day and a duel post isn't going to be feasible. If you want the win, you can have it, but if you can wait I will post first thing tomorrow (the 19th).
Sorry, worst time of the year for me.

Though Eoghan had no idea that his green hair and untamed locks (unlike the nimbus and sidhe he did not have servants to tend to his hair) inspired such animosity in the woman, the pixie felt the standard aggression rise in his chest as the battle ensued. It was just like any competition, one could love their competitor, but in the heat of battle they were just that, competitors. Friends in competition must always draw a distinct line between what takes place on the battlefield and what takes place off of it. Aggression and instinct ruled when two faerie were intertwined in the dance of the bloodshed, nothing else. So the fire in Eoghan’s eyes, though it had little to do with any feelings for Haley, had everything to do with his own personal aggression. Haley and Eoghan could have been kindred spirits, a pairing born in blood, but right now they were foes, and by looking at the garlanger’s intense glare one would know that immediately.
Eoghan’s momentum was carrying him away from Haley, had she not moved he would have simply passed by her, over her shoulder where, with the strength of his wings and the torque of his body, he would have turned in midair to face her. The pixie was at a distinct height advantage with his wings, that was true, but he also had another advantage afforded to him by his wings. While Eoghan’s body would move one way, he could use his wings to counteract the momentum of his attacks. The pixie had stabbed downward and though any other creature would be forced to continue downwards, his wings would jar him upward, pulling him away. Still, that had little effect on Haley’s attack, for with a quick pivot she moved to his side and sent a razor ladened jab at his side.
His momentum and position offered him little chance to defense, so he allowed his reactions to govern his response. As he saw her throw the punch, he moved his arm back, elbow bent, trying to shield his kidneys with the sturdy part of his arm. Simultaneously, he crunched his body to that side, moving his hips back to try and extend the impact time. He also beat ferociously with his right wing, which coupled with the turning of his body would rotate him entirely around so that he would facing Haley. Still, before he could spin around her spikes entered his arm.
He felt her punch slam into his bracer, the leather punctured by the spikes but affording him with enough cushion that they did not scathe his bones. The wounds welled forth with blood but Eoghan had very little time to react as Haley charge him, slicing at what would have been his wings, but now that he was turned to face her the blade came across his chest. Eoghan’s wings gave a great push and he was propelled backwards, still face her as he heard the slice of her blade through thin air.
He noted she tried her best to stay in close proximity but due to his wings having pushed him safely away from her second burst of aggression, he was moving away from her at a safe distance. Eoghan allowed himself to be carried backwards by his own weight, until he came to a complete stop, his wings keeping him from touching down. He hovered in midair for a moment then started forward again.
He flew at her, his body above her shoulder’s height. This time, however, Eoghan did not fly at her. He flew to her side, beginning to rotate his body so that he would be facing her back when he moved past her. But as the pixie flew by he did not leave her unmarked. With his right dagger his slashed across her face hoping to leave her with an elongated mark from her chin to her forehead.
As he moved past, Eoghan sheathed his right dagger and threw a throwing knife. He fired the knife at her torso, knowing that while he moved backwards the power behind the throw would be diminished, but still the caustic blade would do some damage. Haley would undoubtedly have enough time to hurt around before he was able to sheath his blade, but turning and readying herself against his throwing knife would be a different story.
He continued to fly, trying to put distance between the two of them; he wanted Haley to come to him.
Summary: • Dropped my elbow to absorb the punch, spikes hit the leather bracer and punctured the top of the forearm. • Flew away from Haley, DODGE. • Attack 1: Slash as I fly by, aiming to cut the length of the face. • Attack 2: Throwing knife thrown at Haley’s lower torso.

While Haley's attacks had not been as quite as successful as she would have liked, the Nimbus paid it no heed. Like back during her Air Force days, Haley paid very little attention to her failures. She rarely dwelled on them. Instead she used his reaction and her sub-sequential miss in order to further her knowledge of how he operated. In the human world she would have scoffed at such a large creature being able to turn so quickly in mid air, maneuvering like a hummingbird when he was anything but one. The fact that he was able to maintain a relatively close proximity to the Earth and stay upright fascinated her. Unlike a bird, though the faerie had functional wings, his body was not streamlined for flight. He could propel himself into the air, use his wings for long distance travel and hold his own weight, but he would face quite a bit more drag than his bird counterparts.
Haley knew the hovering that Eoghan was performing would consume an amazing amount of energy, merely because his height was maintained by flapping alone. With literally no wind to aid his maneuvers, maintaining a hover, or at least an upright flight so close to ground had to be magically induced, though Haley severely doubted that his bones were light enough to significantly decrease the weight that he was carrying. This meant that he would slow down quickly if he continued to perform the way he did. Haley would merely have to wait until then; until he was so tired he couldn't use those wings anymore. She had a feeling she wouldn't be waiting long.
As Eoghan shifted to face her and then flapped his wings to shift backwards and avoid her slash, Haley blinked against the wind his wings generated, inwardly smiling at the cool air he had practically offered her. At least facing him she wouldn't overheat - har har. Still, she admired his quick movements, and she reacted accordingly.
The moment he receded from her by use of his wings, Haley stopped her pursuit of him. She was not about to waste precious energy to run after an opponent that could easily fly out of her reach. Instead she reset her original Tangsoodo defensive maneuver and waited for the attack she knew would be coming. As she watched him reverse the beat of his wings until he came to a hovering stop in midair, she once again marveled at his physics defying act, chocking it up to magic. Still, that move had to have been exhausting, and she imagined the muscles that ran through his wings were burning with the effort. From what she knew of the Faerie anatomy, no garlanger was able to surpass a Nimbus in strength. Though he was a man and though he was larger than her, their strength would probably be quite comparable. There was one difference between him and her: he had wings; wings that were probably screaming for relief by now. But hey, how was she to know? It was pure speculation.
By the time he came at her Haley had already re-situated herself into a defensive position, her body calm and rested, at the ready. She watched him carefully as e approached her, taking note of his wing and every twitch they went though. After all, his wings were, at the moment, his method of moving and would betray almost everything about him. Ah. There it is. As Eoghan's body came towards her side, Haley rotated with him with ease. Unlike he, she had no bulky body to maneuver. She merely had to rotate her own stance, and Tangsoodo was a martial art that allowed for incredible quick rotation and reversals with just one quick foot position change. On the other hand, She figured Eoghan would be quite slow. A larger than 6 foot body with gigantic wings would not be the most nimble of creatures in mid flight, and the likelihood of him actually passing her, rotating, and attacking in less time than it took her to simply shift her feet was quite possibly nonexistent.
So, as she rotated she had clear view of his attack, and her defensive maneuver was incredibly simple. Since her left arm was already up in a fighting position (she had switched to left in order to change up her fighting stance), she merely had to perform an inside-out block with her upper arm. Her metal clad arm would meet his blade and force it back the way it came. Her own forceful block combined with the force of his body propelling himself forward would quite possibly leave his arm even further behind, especially since she did not lower her hand away from the weapon as she blocked, just to keep his dagger at bay.
At the same time, Haley stepped forward into her block, and threw a punch with her opposite hand. The punch was directed at his exposed abdomen. Since he was in the process of turning towards her and had not yet completed the turn, it was likely she would end up punching to the side of his abdomen, down closer towards his hips and in the direction of his loins. His incomplete turn would also mean that his other weapon would have a little bit more of a distance to reach before it could effectively block, and even then since the entire upper portion of her hand and arm was covered by metal, the likelihood of him doing any damage was slim, though he would be able to knock her hand away by force. However, since she had stepped into her punch, the strength behind it was incredibly intense, so even a downwards aimed powerful block by him would be hard pressed to divert her enough. Still, he was rotating away from her. Thus, she did not fully extend or lock her arm, as it would prevent her in the future from reacting quickly.
The moment her attack was done, Haley used his own momentum to aid her. She dropped the weight off of her front leg and allowed it sweep back behind her, her left leg pivoting at the same time, using the strength he would have been putting behind his own blade that was currently held against her bracer to give her an extra boost in turning. This allowed her to turn with him as he flew past. She then dropped her arm. However, in the process of doing so his blade slipped through the small area of her arm not protected, between the metal disk covering her hand and the metal bracer, slicing open a wound across the upper part of her wrist. In the real world it would have required stitches. Here it was nothing, but it did cause a significant amount of pain when she bent her wrist either way.
Now she had ample enough time to see him sheath his blade and to know that he was intending to send another throwing knife at her. Dodging it would be another story. Haley had managed to turn quicker than normal by having him aid her unintentionally, but she was still not set up to counter a blade quickly. Her arms were not in position for a block, so Haley responded the only way she knew how: she moved into a side-kick position. By rotating her body so that her right side was presented to him, she dramatically decreased the amount of her body exposed to his flying blade. Still as it whistled past, it clipped the upper part of her right leg, which had been brought up in pre-kicking position, not yet extended. The blade bit into the flesh above the knee, leaving a 2-inch long, shallow cut and nothing more.
Not quite off balance, but not quite completely assured in her positioning, Haley quickly dropped back into a fighting stance, her right leg and arm out in front of her, the approximately 60 percent of her weight on her back left leg to alleviate how much weight she placed on her now injured leg. The injury was far from severe, but she didn't want to aggravate it. At the same time she opened her left hand, which was completely coated in blood by this point, and dropped her brass knuckles. A small click would be heard and the blades concealed in her left bracer would extend instantly.
Haley wouldn't give Eoghan what he wanted. As of this point in time she was breathing steadily, completely focused and had hardly used any f her energy. Hell, the Nimbus hadn't even broken into a sweat. All of her movements had been confined to a small space. Her feet had hardly moved, her only attacks coming from her upper body. On the other hand, Eoghan had been flying this entire time, completing maneuvers that she hadn't expected to be possible. It was only a matter of time before he wore himself out. She was content to let him continue to fly around until he collapsed.Summary of Damage-Slice across the complete upper part of her wrist. Shallow, but incredibly painful when she bends her wrist. -2-inch long shallow cut above her right knee. Quite insignificant. Summary of Attack-Punch to the lower part of Eoghan's abdomen/upper area of loins with her right hand. Body stepped into the attack; you can expect it to be powerful. You can also expect it to be extremely fast. (ooc: Dan, can I ask for you to be a tiny bit more specific with your directions, which hands you're using, from where to where you're attacking (i.e. a slash from left to right towards her face), etc? I had to make assumptions and I don't like doing that because it has the potential to piss someone off Thank you!)

Eoghan’s flight carried him past Haley just as he had planned, but he did not escape unscathed as he had planned. The nimbus’s fist, coated in spikes, drove into the side of the pixie. A searing pain shot through Eoghan’s side causing his muscles to tense, his instincts to grab at the wound only overcome by the fact that he was holding his own daggers.
The pixie touched down from his flight, dropping to a knee and placing one dagger on the ground as he inspected the damage that had been done to him. His breathing was heavier than before and as he tried to lift himself to continue the fight, he found the muscles in his torso clenching violently due to the damage that had been done to them. His eyes moved towards Haley who was making her way towards him. He raised a hand, a signal that to stop the fight.
Results: The winner is Haley by default. However, she has not experienced a Coming to Power.
