Millions of years ago, the three Fates spoke of a prophecy, “The world as we know
it will change.” If there came any harm to Apollo, god of the sun.
Now it’s 2011, welcome to a world where daylight is slowly fading from the world.
Apollo has seen an end and his children may be in peril. Since his death, humans
have been tapping into their abilities brought on by their will to survive. This
was one bit of information that was never told by the Fates.
As the humans begin to gain more abilities, the Sovereigns realize that their
power over them is lessening. They realize that they must go and seek out these
"special humans" and kill them before they begin to challenge the Council. Yet,
they don't have enough members to accomplish the task. Enter the other
supernaturals, and even some of the other powerful beings such as angels.
The Council is looking for new members and they're going to get them,
whatever the cost. You don't want to join? Too bad, if they want you,
it would be wise to join up. Power is everything now, and you're dead without it.
Quite literally.
