The job description of the Captain is generally the same as the Royal Guard aside from the fact that the Captain is the most skilled of all the guards. The guards answer only to the Captain and the Captain only answers to the monarch.

Made up of both males and females, these are the monarch’s personal guard, and, on occasion,their lovers. Those of the Guard are tasked with the monarch’s safety from anyone else, as well as keeping them satisfied in...other ways, if they so demand. Some NPCs hold Guard ranks.

Above are the court’s four advisors ranking in importance with the Niceven as the most important advisor and the Branwyn as the least. The Niceven is the most power member of the court only answering to the Monarch. No NPCs hold these ranks unless otherwise stated.

A creature of steel and blood, you have proven yourself with the blade. Though you may have not earned the trust of the Queen enough to become responsible with guarding her life, your skills are recognized. The Hypna is the most revered warrior of the court who is not a guard.

Still not quite a member of the court’s elite you are on your way to a higher rank. You may have proven yourself with your blade or your tongue, but you must do something to take you to the next level. No NPCs unless otherwise stated.

Upon arriving in Alanor and the Seelie Court, they aren’t acknowledged as having achieved true membership as part of the Court. Until they prove themselves in one way or another, they must seek acceptance. All NPCs are Seekers, unless otherwise stated.

Any faerie who has displeased the monarch shall be placed here. If you have not been exiled from one court you may venture there and seek acceptance, but if you’ve been exiled from both courts you must leave Alanor forever.
