*Years of Rping: I dunno, a while. Maybe around 8 or 9
Name: Tadhg
*Age: Old, old, old. Thousands of years.
Gender: Male
Bloodline: Sidhe
Preferred mantel (pick three): Golden Eagle, Martial Eagle, Steppe Eagle
Court Preference: Seelie
Appearance: Very dark brown hair that is shot with grey making it actually look a dark pewter color. When he's been out in the wilderness, it's long and rather unkept, but when he shaves, he cuts it down to a shorter length. He's got green, slate blue and silver eyes that looks the color of the sky before an afternoon storm. Tadhg is more rugged then beautiful, but this quality emphasizes his masculine good looks, making him quite attractive in a dangerous, mysterious sort of way. He prefers to make his own clothing, his outfits normally consisting of well-worked leather and natural comfortable cloth like linen. He's rarely seen without a bow and quiver and a dagger on each hip. His skin is the healthy gold of someone who is constantly in the sun. He looks anywhere between 25 and 45 depending on his mood and what he's thinking. Broad of shoulder and dark of brow, he's fit and trim with the body of a ranger and reflexes more akin to a bird of prey then a fairie.
Personality: Tadhg is the defination of an old soul. He's been around too long to put much faith in leaders and prefers to save his judgement and his loyalty, giving a decision much later then the rest of the crowd. He is a fierce hunter and tracker, his skills both natural and honed from years of knowing little else. He will stop at nothing to find his quary; it is impossible to deter him once he's set his mind to something. He's hesitant to take a life of any kind in vain however and shuns senseless killing with a passion. He is respectful of the lives he takes and believes all life forms to have equal footing in the balance of existance. He would take peace if given the choice, but is wise enough to realize peace isn't always the best course of action.
He tends to be on the quieter side, having spent more time in the outdoors and wild expanses of the world then in the stuffy company of courtiers and smiling ladies and therefore being often clumsy with speech and social nicities. He comes across as distantly polite but doesn't immediately invoke a desire to carry on a conversation.
He is well versed in most forms of literature and loves above all things the soft beauty of nature. He's shrewd on the hunt, never misses his mark and picks up on subtleties that most others miss. His memory is sharp and spans millennia. He never forgets, especially an injustice done upon him or his own. He has a bad tendency to be protective of what he deems his own, almost to a fault.
*History: Tadhg has known many bodies and many life times. But in each of them he has shared his soul with the earth. It is as much a part of him as blood and bone and he pines and withers if trapped too long inside the confines of sentient structures and cities.
He was most well known and spent the majority of his existence as a pagan god of the hunt and protector of the wilderness, friend and mentor to Picts and the Scots-Irish who adhered to a simple way of life he cherished. He eventually chose Scotland as his 'native' land, acquiring their heavy brogue and noble if a bit barbaric lifestyle.
While not a major god, he was well beloved and was heartbroken when the old pagan religion fell by the way side to the more aggressive Christian beliefs. Tadhg wandered for a time, falling into human play as a magician and teacher, going by a handful of names recognizable in human mythology and history, particularly the legends of a certain clan leader named Arthur. When the world turned and he realized humans had evolved into something much more selfish and cold then he had originally loved, he left and came to Alanor to scout out it's wild and bide his time, waiting for new purpose.
