The Unexplored Regions Exploration in Alanor is key to the roleplay. Vast parts of Alanor have yet to have been discovered and even many parts of both courts hold century old mysteries that have been long forgotten. The Mists: Though the term “Mists” was initially coined to describe the unknown regions beyond the mountain range that houses the Unseelie caverns, it is now more widely used to describe any area of Alanor that is not the Courts, the Mounds or the Altar. Many regions of Alanor are unexplored wilderness, caves, and even small bodies of water. One of the most pressing mysteries is what is beyond the seemingly endless boundaries of Alanor, and why the faint crashing of a shoreline can be heard beyond the mountain ranges. The Underdark: The belly of the Unseelie has been unexplored and seemingly uninhabited for years. While most of the Unseelie caverns are ornate and beautiful, the Underdark is not. The Unseelie roses do not even extend into the Underdark. The entrance to the belly of the caverns is not one easily found and is only accessible through a small crawl space down one very inconspicuous pathway. Very few would ever dare venture into the Underdark, as it has been said that the rotting carcasses of the most monstrous faerie still fester there.
