So yeah, huge crisis, already alerted Sky to my lack of activity. I'm in Osaka so we're doing fairly well here.
Today's my day off work so I'm trying to catch up on what's happened in the last, like, three weeks haha.
And post. Posting is important.

I'm leaving to return to Tokyo around April 4th. My flight got delayed from March 28th -.- Which is annoying, but I can't do much about it.
And sorry about the hot Japanese boys hahaha. I've been influenced a lot by Japan...especially since my boyfriend is Japanese ><;; So yeah, I can't help it.

I'm HAPPY to hear that!! I know I know, you're obviously in a hurry to return haha but seriously... things up here are not looking so hot. I'd stay put until this radiation business is over. I'll be in Tokyo/southern Saitama from April 10th if all goes well. Tokyo meetup? Hahaha I know how you feel. My ex, ex-ex, and current um.. fling? Are all Japanese >_>;; one you go yellow you never - nevermind lol.

Oooo Tokyo meetup would be awesome! Since the 10th is a Sunday I'm down ^^
I'm not too particularly worried about the radiation. I've worked for a nuclear power comapny for two years and I've done a lot of research. The American media is acting like the world is ending when this disaster is not even nearly as bad as Chernobyl.

But Chernobyl was REALLY REALLY BAD! That's like saying "I'm not as sick as a dead person."
I'm confident they will get it under control, and that it won't be like Chernobyl because Japan is nothing like the Iron Curtain. But still.

LMAO ^ WIN. Can I quote that some time? Honestly though Evelyn, I'm with you on that one. Japan media compared to Canadian media right now is HILARIOUSLY different. My poor mother and family back home have to hear "HIDE YO WIFE AND YO KIDS CAUSE THEY RADIATIN' ERRYBODY OUT HERE" all over the news. Talk of evac, Chernobyl, it's horrible. I mean I know it's important not to underplay something this serious, but it's also important not to scare the crap out of people! According to my friend the radiation level in Tokyo right now isn't even as bad as a chest x-ray so... I think we have a way to go before being scared down here in Osaka . But that can change in an instant if the worst were to happen. But it's unlikely. I keep debating for both sides haha. But yeah, I seriously don't see it getting much worse. Hoping anyway. I know where to get Iodine juuuust in case . Thanks for the concern though guys <3.

Yeah. So. My Japan trip was canceled since the Japanese school I would be attending closed. So yeah. Guess who's not going to Japan and thus not seeing her boyfriend? This girl.

oh geeze!! That's horrible. I'm so sorry to hear that. I mean, I'm glad you won't be at risk but I know that feeling (also having spent a considerable time away from my ex when he went back). I hope the school reopens soon and you can resume your plans *hugs*
