The Seelie Court’s politics are of a Roman-esque society; love of gourmet dishes, shimmering gems, and carnal indulgences govern most of their social policies. Often, those who are the most beautiful or hold great prowess in magic and battle rise to the top of the hierarchy in the Seelie. With all of this said, the Seelie likes to maintain a façade of nobility amongst their people. The Seelie’s most vile problems are often swept out of the limelight and under the rug in favor of a pure, pristine image. This drummed up image is the stuff of child fairytales. However, the Seelie are anything but a night time story for children.

Garlangers are less favored in the Seelie court, and rarely hold high rank. There are exceptions made for particularly talented garlangers, just as long as they lack extreme deformities.

The Seelie’s current monarch, Annette, mimics the sentiment of the Seelie’s wholesome mirage. Beautiful in her frailty, the queen may appear to be a China doll carved from ruby but it is to the contraire. Annette commands two of the most lethal Hands of Power in all of Alanor, and her past deeds, though undisclosed, have her holding a coveted Goblin Blade title.
