34 years ago- Alysia returned to Alanor to investigate a rumor she had heard. While her investigation led her to the mists, the shades had attacked the festival of Imbolc. When she returned to the Seelie territory and heard about the vicious attack, she knew that wouldn't be the last of them. She knew they were a threat to which she wished to protect.
During this time, Alysia had met and befriended many individuals. One person in particular, Tadhg, had happened to gain her heart and affections unknowingly. However, confused with the unfamiliar feelings, Alysia began to rush into situations without thinking them through. Like for example, her secret one time tryst with King Cel. Not proud of herself at that point in time, she decided to investigate the Drow further and escape the unfamiliar feelings she was plagued with.
30 years ago- The tension rising in the Darkling court snapped. The war had started and expecting her queen to at least offer some type of assistance, was severely disappointed. Angry at Annette for her lack of proper action with both the war and the Drow, Alysia began to prepare herself for whatever the future brought. She threw herself into training, hoping to rid herself of her frustrations and haunting thoughts of the man that had so obviously (except to her) captured her heart.
She was both angry and saddened at how a queen could place ignorance and pride over those she ruled over, but she knew that a civil war would only weaken them. She agreed to stay loyal only for the sake of her people and the ones she cared about, but she didn't have to like it.
28 years ago- Torn between helping the Unseelie or hunting down the Drow, Alysia found herself at a loss. While she planned for ways to assist the unseelie in some form or fashion, Alysia continued her hunt for clues on the Drow. However she was merely only one person. She refused to give up though and trudged through book, mud, mist, and old festival grounds. All the while she did this; she didn't realize that her frustrations were building. She did realize it when others began to keep their distance from her due to risking her ire. Realizing she may have been a bit on the moody and easy to anger side, she stopped trying to hide from herself and began to sort through massive ball of unfamiliar feelings.
25 years ago- After three years of self counseling she realized what had been plaguing her. It took nine years, but she finally realized she had fallen for the dark haired man that had haunted her every thought. Deciding there wasn't much she could do about it at the moment; she continued her research on the Drow. After stumbling across an old book, which described in vague detail the Isle of the Eloquent, she knew she had to set out and find this place. If anywhere knew of the Drow, this would be the place to go. After weeks of searching, Alysia finally came upon the mysterious island. Deciding it was now or never, Alysia joined in as a seeker to the Isle.
Not long after entering, Alysia met a nimbus by the name of Haley that shared similar views about the war and the Drow.
23 years ago- As the war raged on in the Unseelie court, Alysia began to realize that this war would weaken Alanor. All the research she had done hadn't led to anything significant in nature and the disappearance of the Drow put her on edge. She had wondered where the Drow had gone off to, but it didn't take a genius to realize they were biding their time. If they wanted to completely take over, they only had to wait until they were at their weakest. It was at this that she realized she couldn’t sit back and do nothing to help the unseelie. If they were going to have any chance, since the Drow were a complete unknown and therefore a worst case scenario, they would need them strong.
"Secret to most"
Alysia set out in search for her love interest, knowing that if it was anyone that would assist her in some way it would be him. It didn't take her long to find to the woodsman and ask him for his aid. Turns out he had already been assisting the unseelie refugees. He had been assisting those that were too young to be exposed or wished to escape from the war ridden territory and into safe havens all across Alanor. Knowing this was considered disobeying the queen’s orders; Alysia decided the hell with them and set out on assisting Tadhg and his war relief efforts.
15 years ago- Balancing her duties at the Isle and assisting Tadhg with the refugees very well, Alysia had never felt more useful then than she ever had since her duties as forest guardian were over. During the years working alongside the man of her dreams only brought her closer to him. However she knew that at that point in time, she wasn't yet ready to confess her feeling to him. Didn't stop her from wishing it was so however. Maybe when the war was over she would be ready. Only time would tell.
5 years ago- Upon hearing of the finale of the war, Alysia couldn't help but feel a strange apprehension. Yes the war was over, but so many had suffered just for the sake of pride in some form or fashion. Not only that, but she had the strangest feeling that it wouldn't be long before the drow started appearing. Lastly, she knew she would come out and admit her feelings to Tadhg soon. Yes it had been 30 years in the making and the sexual tension was unbelievable, but she couldn't help but feel that maybe she had misread him somewhere along the line. She hoped that he felt something for her at least and it hadn't been her imagination.
2 years ago- After many long nights of research, Alysia still couldn't find out much concerning the Drow. It was almost as if the books concerning them were conveniently missing. Alysia knew it would soon be time to renew her search for them in full. She just wished she knew more before she barged in on them. They were an unknown and she hated unknowns. She would fight them in any case, they were a threat to all she held dear and she would protect what she considered hers to protect.
Like she told Cel on that night all those years ago, she never really had stopped being that fearsome guardian she had once been. She only evolved into something much grander than she once had been. She was going to protect Alanor and most importantly the man that held her heart, one way or another
((Alright I've finally gotten it out. However I may need a couple of your approvals if needed. Unfortunately my accomplice is missing in action so it took me much longer than i had wanted to take in getting it out and may not be as perfect or in sync as I wanted it to be. :/ ))
((Edit: On Alysia's discovering of the Isle of the Eloquent. ^^))
