*Years of Rping: 12
Name: Qwinnon
*Age: Around 960 years
Gender: Female
Bloodline: Nimbus
Preferred mantel (pick three): Violet Sabrewing, Desert Kit Fox, Margay(Amazonicus)
Court Preference: Seelie
Appearance: With shoulder-length dark, curly hair that is as soft to the touch as silk, and skin as white as snow, Qwinnon is a lovely creature. A face that is gentle and round built by delicate features that exude innocence and kindness increased by the soft blush of rose that appears in her cheeks. Constantly watching the world with tri-colored eyes, shades of gold-brown surrounds the pupil then bleeds into a pale spring green that continues on until it is rimmed by a deep sapphire, that hold a plethora of wisdom. Rarely is Qwinnon caught without a smile upon her pale pink lips unless caught in deep, deep thought, and even then if greeted she will have one to present within seconds. Speaking in an accent that is heavily influenced by her many, many years calling Scotland home. The accent, sometimes growing thick when she speaks too fast, is hard to miss. She stands at 5'8, moves with a natural grace, and has a figure that is clearly woman, constructed of curves that have been known to attract the eye, though is not necessarily a stick or to be considered 'skinny' though neither is Qwinnon exactly heavy enough for it to be unhealthy.
There's a preference to stick toward whites, or nature be-fitting shades, in her wardrobe, and one would easily notice her penchant for shoes or boots that are flat. Containing no heel nor wedge to them. Constantly of a mind to be more down-to-earth than head-in-the-clouds. Though, like any other Fae, her more natural side is not exactly to be ignored and upon occasion she does indulge by the wearing of fancy clothing and jewelry.
Personality: Knowledge is power, or so the saying goes, and being immortal means there is much knowledge to acquire. Qwinnon has a penchant for learning, a desire to know all that can be known, that makes her inquisitive. A constant need to acquire as many scrolls and tomes as one can to read over, and to saturate the mind with, can also lead to the need to ask a thousand questions. This means that Qwinnon talks quite a lot. . . and generally to ask many, many questions. A most annoying trait, honestly, yet she would not realize it to be so. In fact, she finds it annoying when one does not talk much or care to ask questions of others. For how could one not desire to learn all that can be known of those around them?
On rare occasion does the talking cease. Mostly it halts briefly to be replaced by thoughtful silence as the mind seeks out an internal answer. Untangling the knots that can be created by learning a bit of information most curious. These incidents are not always often, but the one way to genuinely succeed in keeping her quiet for excessive periods of time would be to place in her hands many tomes or scrolls. Then she becomes lost to the words upon the page.
Yet, this love to be left in the presence of musty tomes and scrolls does not mean that Qwinnon lacks the ability to enjoy herself. She has been known to dance, and sing(though mostly when alone to the animals of nature), and to generally find merriment in life. Quick to laugh, a warm and rich sound, and being witty has quite a sense of humor. Rarely is she moved to anger or the desire to strike someone. Though one thing she greatly loves to do is take sojourns throughout the lands. Disappearing, at times without a word, for days, weeks, or months at a time seeking knowledge or solitude. Surviving on her own merits while sharing what has been learned with those who also have a desire to expand their own pool of knowledge.
Having been a Scholar and a healer, with only knowledge of basic mending and herbs, on more than one occasion over her many years. Enjoying the act of writing down the knowledge learned as much as teaching it. She kept to those fields of study and expansion most religiously. Thoughtful, intelligent, and loyal. . . well, loyal there is little doubt. Qwinnon is very much loyal to the Seelie Court, and would never betray it. To do so would be most shameful. A betrayal of the worst kind.
Of course, Qwinnon has skills lacked. Fighting is something she's most inept at, in fact. While having been taught enough to at least protect herself(to enact the defend, strike, distract, and flee actions) she never went beyond basic skill. Hunting for food with a weapon is much different than fighting another person, and the mere act of even striking someone sickens her. Even if it should be in defense of herself. This means that she is vulnerable when out traveling on her own. Generally keeping to sleeping in tree branches at night to avoid trouble though this does not always work.
*History:
Immortality bears with it a heavy mantle. One that sees a never-ending tunnel that continues onward, and seems only to grow longer the more one walks its path. For some mortality seems most disheartening, its end constantly in sight, and all the desire is long years with no death in sight. To be immortal though does not mean one can't die though. It means only that that means with which one finds death is different. Worse though than death is to live eternity. . . alone. Almost 960 years of watching those deemed close die, of watching history change, of remaining forever eventually becomes tiresome. Enough that one desires not to be amongst many that are mortal.
Qwinnon came to Alanor to escape the haunting pain of ghosts, tired of the violence and cruelty found in the realm of mortals, and to find solitude. Peace. For mortals they always seemed intent of death and destruction, and finding a quicker way to end their already short lives. It was her penchant for knowledge, and learning, that kept her in that world so long until no longer could her heart take it. The loss of varied lovers taken amongst their ranks, or watching those she grew close enough to to call friend, leaving it scarred and broken. Leaving her weary until finally more could not be taken.
Most of the time in realm of mortals was spent traveling over their world between 1047 to roughly 2007. Avoiding too much attention, and brushing off comments of 'Oh, that looks an awful lot like you! Too bad it's at Henry the VIII's court!' with claims that it was a coincidence in similarity, or a distant relative. Luckily those of mortal mindset tend to be a tad bit closed-minded about the possibility of one living forever. Or beyond human set years. Settling home in Scotland for the great majority of her time in their world. Though there was more to learn, to see, to touch in a world yet growing. Staying was near impossible even with encouragement and so she left. Alanor would become home now, the place where she could learn and hopefully teach, and begin to soothe the ache in her heart. Though the Realm of Faerie does not lack for violence, cruelty, greed, and death. . .
Politics and power were brutal in any realm.

*History:
“What if a demon were to creep after you one night, in your loneliest loneliness, and say, 'This life which you live must be lived by you once again and innumerable times more; and every pain and joy and thought and sigh must come again to you, all in the same sequence. The eternal hourglass will again and again be turned and you with it, dust of the dust!' Would you throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse that demon? Or would you answer, 'Never have I heard anything more divine'?”
