Player Name: Dema-mazement
Contact info(e-mail, screen name, etc): blah blah blah.
*Years of Rping: In my day, we used to walk ten miles through the snow with our typewriters.
Name: Comoros (“Como”)
*Age: A few hundred years, still seems very young
Gender: Male
Bloodline: Garlanger – Lycanthrope
Preferred mantel (pick three): Gold Dust Day Gecko, Madagascar Giant Day Gecko, Yellow-throated Day Gecko (first one very much preferred.)
Court Preference: Unseelie
Appearance: Como is a lizard. I mean, he’s a guy too, but he’s definitely as much a lizard as he is a guy. In some ways, he’s the worst of both worlds – his limbs are too long to allow him to run on all fours, and his tail is too long to allow him to wear normal dude pants. He usually has to resort to a long rectangle of fabric folded and wrapped around his thighs (and faerie bits) and fastened with a belt. Like a sumo wrestler. Except he’s skinny.
Once you get past the silly outfit and the fact that this guy is also a lizard, he’s actually sort of beautiful. Standing at about five foot five, his body is entirely covered in vivid scales – predominantly green, with occasional orange spots, flecks of yellow, and splashes of turquoise blue. His skin shimmers and seems to radiate light, like a living jewel. His eyes are large and entirely black, his eyelids blue as a summer sky, and his face very nearly faerie with the exception of his extremely flat nose and distinct lack of lips (lizards don’t have lips). His tongue is a lizard’s – crazy long – but you’d never know unless he forgot his manners and licked his eyes in front of you. Which he WILL NOT.
As if in compromise between his faerie and lizard blood, Como is double-jointed from head to foot. This is especially important for his hands and feet, which are a bit larger than they should be (by faerie standards) and covered in ridges on their bottoms which allow him to stick to any surface (except Teflon…so, if you’re worried about it, there’s that). By “allow” I mean he sticks to everything everywhere he goes, and if it weren’t for his double-jointed toes he would have quite the ordeal picking up his feet to walk. Between his hands and feet, he can climb basically anything, including sheer walls and glass.
Personality: Maybe some Lycans are bold fellows who growl and fight and threaten. Those ones probably have predatory mantels, like tigers and bears, and are big and strong and pick on everyone. Como is not one of those Lycans. He’s painfully shy, and while he’s much more durable than you’d imagine, he doesn’t particularly like to test that durability. He speaks very rarely because his voice is colored both by youth and his "lizard accent," and tends to avoid other faerie as much as possible. At the slightest threat of danger, Como usually flees up a wall and into a crevice.
Como has never had friends, really. He is amiable with the Unseelie servants, but his bizarre appearance and skittish nature have precluded the possibility of enduring acquaintance. If he were to have friends, he supposes he would be loyal to the very end, and maybe even defend them if he felt braver.
*History: Abbreviated version: has lived in the Unseelie caverns for his whole life, has avoided meeting every monarch in that time.
