*Years of Rping:
Tons.
Name:
Namgil
*Age:
Several thousand years, but appears to be in his late 30's.
Gender:
Male
Bloodline:
Sidhe
Preferred mantel (pick three):
Bald Eagle, Saker Falcon, Black-Winged Kite
Court Preference:
Unseelie
Appearance:
Namgil is a tall and somewhat intimidating man. He stands a little over six feet in height and the way he holds himself -tall and straight- makes him appear even taller. His body is slender built, not bulky, though there is a fair amount of muscle and he lays claim to an amazingly sculpted six-pack. He has a perfected body, with nearly zero percent body fat, mainly due to his various workout activities. His skin is tanned and nearly flawless, save for what looks like a scar of a snake bite on the lower right part of his neck, and another small stab scar on his lower abdomen.
Despite his Adonis-like build, Namgil doesn't give off an aura of a perfect man. His over-grown hair, unkempt mustache, and deep set black rimmed eyes give him that distinct bad-boy appearance. Still, his appearance is of collected disorganization, sloppy but in a manner that still appeases the eye. He can be scarily intimidating, and not exactly the first person someone would want to jump into bed with. His Sidhe glow is anything but magnificent; a steel gray color that is not so much visible as it is sensed. The air around him simply seems darker, but it is a darkness others can't quite put their finger on, something sinister but not obviously so. Still, it can leave others unnerved at times.
Namgil's eyes are pure black, blending in with his pupils, but rimmed in a deep charcoal gray. They seem eerily lifeless, much like a reptiles, but with a glint of something; insanity perhaps? His hair is normally tousled to one side, obscuring his right field of vision, and his face is always adorned with an untreated thin mustache of sorts, giving him a more rugged appearance. His attire is nothing too special; he never strays far from blacks and charcoal grays, save for the occasional white shirt. He is nearly always in a suit, though their styles may range from modern to older, depending on his mood. The majority of the time he can be seen wearing black gloves, though the reason behind this is pretty much unknown. Namgil is never without a weapon of some sort, and usually carries a variety of switchblades and knives.
Personality:
If Namgil were to be classified under common alignments, he could easily be seen as Neutral evil. He is an incredibly selfish creature, set about his ways and intent on getting what he wants - when he wants it. While he delights in ruining the lives of others, either by bloodshed or by mere words, Namgil never goes out of his way to instigate pain unless it benefits him in some way. He aligns himself to whoever may benefit him, though he has no true loyalty to anyone save himself. He upholds traditions when he feels like it, yet he has no real set of ethics or any moral code that he is bound to. He is, in essence, unpredictable in the sense that he will switch sides or views without so much of a blink of an eye. Whatever he feels with earn him the most gain, he will do it.
Namgil is the type of man who delights in alcohol, flesh, and money. Though he never over drinks, he is often found dipping into hard liquor, even in the morning. Though Alanor is not run by material items, Namgil has a penchant for showing up in expensive suits and jewelry, and his living quarters house all of the finest pieces of furniture available. He liberally uses the servants to his advantage, though he is not inherently lazy - he just likes the feeling of creatures beneath him, following his every order. As for flesh, Namgil can be most often found luring women to his abode, though he at times indulges in the flesh of men. Though he finds Garlangers to be worthless creatures, peons at best, he has no qualms with bedding them, and will often converse with them, though usually only to eventually make use of them.
Namgil is prone to temper tantrums, though he always goes about them in a smooth, controlled manner. He is quick to maim anyone who badmouths him, and his somewhat emotionless demeanor makes it hard to predict how he will act. Namgil will kill with a smile, whether it be man woman or child, and he cares very little for life in general. Often considered bipolar, his can switch emotions almost instantaneously, leaving many-a-fae very unsettled when they are around him. Those that know him may choose to stay back away from him by several feet for fear they may be stabbed just because he 'feels like it'. An unpredictable, smooth and selfish killer, Namgil does what he wants, when he wants.
*History:
Namgil has been around Alanor for ages, coming and going as he pleases. He's held several high positions in both courts and consequently lost them, only to gain them back under various rulers. He's seen many conflicts in Alanor, but he cares little for them or for the history. For the past few hundred years he's been absent and he's returned to find that Alanor is still the same as it ever was. This time around he has decided to go the Unseelie court route again and he is quite interested in meeting the new King.
Namgil also has quite a bloody past with Jun and Ren of the Unseelie court. His return stems from the fact that he knows they are around, and he intends to pick up right where they left off. One of his previous exploits has also left him partially responsible for Reika's mental anguish and physical branding- something he doesn't quite remember nor particularly care about.
(ooc: DONE. Replacement for Jaejin, since I'm not going to exceed the 4 character limit. I checked the numbers and Unseelie is down by like 4 faerie or something, so since Unseelie will suit his history a bit more and the side plots I have in works for him, I changed him to Unseelie court preference.)
