32 years ago: Morgon doesn't know a damn thing about the Sluagh or why they are fighting the Unseelie or really, one iota about Faerie politics when it comes right down to it. He doesn't dare ask Annette because he can see that the subject irritates her. Feeling the depth of his ignorance, Morgon begins to seek out answers elsewhere.
28 years ago: Morgon discovers the Library in the Mists for the first time. He is astonished by the wealth of information available there, and fascinated by the ancient human garlanger who keeps the tomes. He begins intensive research into Faerie culture and the history of Alanor.
11 years ago: Troubled by his fiftieth birthday, Morgon sets out into the mists again to clear his head, and stumbles upon a strange boat with a serpent prow in the river. Feeling he has nothing to lose, he climbs into the boat and is taken to the Isle of the Eloquent. Morgon is very surprised to discover Haley there, who is an acquaintance he has admired from afar (very, very far) and a Denwyr of his court.
I don't really know, after that. I really need to work on Morgon to make him more interesting.
