Sky approval needed.
I'm going to need to update her personality profile big time.
33 years ago: Tovah is born, and called the child of Alecto and Kobaalt.
32 years ago: The faerie age quickly in their early years. Tovah is a toddler when her mother is first imprisoned and the rebellion begins. Because she is the "daughter of Kobaalt," Cel spares her from the dungeons, herself, but takes her as his personal servant for the remainder of his reign.
22 years ago:Tovah grows up amongst garlanger and slaves, deeply conscious of the travails of the Darkling underclass. Though she is constantly reminded that she comes from a kind of elevated birth -- being the daughter of a Sidhe traitor and an undead Hero -- the fame does not help her clean the Unseelie King's bedchambers after a night of stress-relieving carnage. Her hatred for the Sidhe, their elitism and their treatment of "tainted" fae, leads her to feel deeply sympathetic to the Sluagh. At the same time, she becomes fascinated by her mother's story, discovering that the Fury's treachery was perhaps a product of similar feelings.
10 years ago: The Darkling palace is captured, and the Sluagh King released. Tovah watches the battle unfold from a balcony, and catches her first glimpse of her true father, though she does not know him as such. In the wake of chaos, she hurries to the dungeon to search for her mother, but finds that her cell has no bars or windows (likely to keep her from transforming into her mantel and escaping). The only sign she has of her mother is an animal cry, half-mad with rage and grief.
5 years ago: Segwyn casts King Cel into trance, and releases Alecto from the dungeon. Tovah watches the Garlanger king escorting her mother from the Hall of Mortality, and can immediately perceive that their relationship is complex. Mother and Daughter meet for the first time in nearly thirty years.
Tovah is struck by how little Alecto resembles most Sidhe, particularly in her weakened and battered state. There is a wildness to the woman that unsettles her, tempered by an ember of tenderness that nearly scorches when they embrace. To Tovah's complete surprise, the Fury is awash in tears at their meeting. She confesses that Kobaalt was not her father, and that the story of her birth was contrived to protect her from Cel's wrath. Alecto introduces her to Segwyn as father. Tovah is too shocked by the whole exchange to do anything but stare.
4 years ago: Finally free to roam the Unseelie caverns, it becomes quickly apparent upon Cel's imprisonment that the darkling roses favor Tovah in some way. They come to her defense when she is threatened, but their affinity for her does not quite feel benevolent, and the nimbus often retreats to the outside wilds to escape their constant fawning.
Tovah's feelings about her parents are conflicted. Alecto is nurturing as much as she can be, and obviously deeply concerned with her daughter's welfare, but it is clear that some part of her was lost in the dungeons...perhaps irrevocably. Segwyn is noble, the figure-head for a cause Tovah agreed with, but part of her resents him for leaving her to mop the blood off her uncle's bedroom floor for the entire duration of her life. Perhaps that upbringing was safer, but the little fury feels she would have preferred danger to servitude.
3 years ago: Tovah stumbles upon the Isle of the Eloquent, and submits herself as a Seeker. There is a part of her that wants nothing so much as to escape her life as she knows it. Meanwhile, she attempts to patch her relationship with her makers by capitalizing on their strengths. She learns to hunt and takes up a blade for the first time.
3 years ago: At the Isle, Tovah meets Haley, a nimbus from the Seelie court. She takes an immediate liking to Haley, who in many ways resembles herself.
2 years ago: After building trust for nearly a year, Tovah reveals her past to Haley, including her parentage.
I don't want to finish the last two years until I've had a chance to plot with others

Haley would take to young Tovah easily, especially if she were to know of Tovah's relation to Alecto. Haley understands the desire to escape (she's practically done the same thing after all), and she would be willing to partake in Tovah's training, should the young one desire a mentor.

OOoooh yes, definitely! In fact I almost wonder if Haley should be Tovah's primary teacher, since she's still warming up to having parents at all. Tovah wouldn't necessarily understand the Drow thing, but Alecto definitely would, so maybe she could pass along the message? We could do that in game, though.
Alecto definitely wouldn't be able to find the Isle of the Eloquent right now since all she wants in the whole world is to wreak havoc (har), but she'd go out on a Drow hunting trip for sure.
Updating the timeline!
