Years of Rping: <1 (n00b)
Name: Aurelius
Age: 250
Gender: Male
Bloodline: Sidhe
Preferred mantel (pick three): Ermine, Albino Praying Mantis, Blue Racer
Court Preference: Unseelie
Appearance: A young pup by sidhe standards, Aurelius nevertheless towers over the shadows of the Unseelie Court at a well-muscled 6'5". While gorgeous by human standards, Aurelius is still very much a gawkish teenager in the eyes of the court; all limbs and nervous stuttering. Long riotously curly raven hair falls in an iridescent waterfall over skin of the most shimmering mother-of-pearl; marred only by freckles of neon blue across his shoulders and the bridge of his nose. From a boyish face of seraphic beauty gaze Aurelius' most striking feature; his luminous eyes. He peers quizzically through large orbs of deepest onyx, shot through with migratory streaks of emerald and gold. In keeping with his awkward adolescent demeanor. Aurelius has a propensity for talking with his arms and hands, his long fingers spelling out his thoughts in a language only he can understand.
Personality: While his 250 years of existence may be extreme by human standards, Aurelius is still the ebullient puppydog of the Unseelie Court. He demonstrates a child's insatiable desire for knowledge, often bothering his fellow Sidhe with repeated questions of "but why?" However, disturbingly enough to the other Unseelie, his thirst for knowledge tends to center quite firmly around the blood-soaked Hall of Mortality.
Oftentimes the laughinstock of the court, primarily because of his boyish awkwardness and bookwormish attributes; Aurelius tends to stick to his chambers, with his nose buried in tomes of magic and military tactics. As a result of this studious seclusion, Aurelius has fallen into a state of silence, only rarely opening his lips to speak to his fellow Unseelie, preferring instead to communicate by notes. The rare exception to his self-imposed silence is his penchant for whistling, and his haunting melodies can be heard echoing through the caverns, a flag-bearer proclaiming his coming. Aurelius loves civility and attempts to be polite to every member of the Unseelie Court, especially those high-ranking members who might be instrumental in greater access to the machinations of the Hall of Mortality. However dedicated to civility and decorum Aurelius may be, like all members of the Unseelie Court he is capable of becoming a whirlwind of deadly force when necessary. Aurelius specializes in throwing daggers, and a vicious glaive as tall as he is.
Though awkward and child-like he may be, one of Aurelius' most carefully guarded secrets is exactly how far his intelligence extends. Few notice that his wry smile rarely reaches his eyes, and that those lightless orbs absorb every bit of the minutiae around him. Constantly comparing what he observes to what he reads, Aurelius' greatest strength is his iron-clad mind, while his greatest weakness may be that nobody thinks enough of him to let him use it.
