Well! What a wild ride it's been, eh?
Sky, since you play both characters that have some involvement in my plotline, I offer this up for your blessing.
32 years ago: Alecto goes to Cel and urges him not to make war against the Sluagh, when they know they also have the Drow to worry about, and can be confident that they will receive no reinforcements from the Seelie. In his rage over the whole situation (and his particular distaste for being corrected), Cel throws Alecto into the dungeon, where she remains for most of the war. This gives her lots of time to distantly commiserate with Segwyn (also in the dungeon, in the beginning), freak out over the fate of her daughter, and go a little bit batshit crazy.
5 years ago: Segwyn busts Alecto out of solitary, which is awfully heroic but doesn't entirely erase the fact that he date-raped her twenty-eight years before. Alecto's conflicted feelings about the Sluagh King are enhanced by her borderline insanity from being trapped in a cell for a couple of decades. She has reverted to a version of herself that far predates Alanor: fierce, bloodthirsty, and eager for revenge. Her sense of loyalty has been shaken by her desire for justice. She is none too pleased that Cel lives in the bottom of the bottomless pit, and obsesses over the idea of retrieving him, or joining him there.
Additionally, she is annoyed and disgusted that Segwyn will not take the throne which, in her eyes, he has won by battle.
I think that is about it, for her. Tovah's will be a bit more complex.
