Rules
Roleplay
1. Please wait to RP after you’ve been accepted at the Mounds.
2. Keep in mind Proboard’s Terms of Service. >_<
3. This is an intermediate to advanced RPG but we’re open to everyone who is willing to learn! We don’t have a word requirement but we do expect quality posts, use proper spelling and grammar.
4. Alanor operates on liquid-time or translocation magic meaning you can post in more than one thread at a time so long as they do not conflict. So feel free to have more than 1 thread.
5. This site's rating is PG13 at most. Please try to keep from being too graphic or naughty. *points to proboards ToS*
6. I probably don’t need to say this but no god-moding and avoid mary sues and other cliché characters.
7. Characters who become inactive will be placed on the court "Exiled" list. They will remain there until they return or resign.
Out of Character
1. Respect others and their beliefs, don’t discuss anything that might upset your fellow RPers.
2. Have a separate account for each character.
3. We have an Absence board for those who are going away or taking time off but don’t want to be mistakenly deleted. I really encourage everyone to use this board even if you just don’t have the muse to post for a while.
4. If you don’t post on the absence board you’re expected to post once a week. Unlike other sites we try to incorporate inactivity into the RP so if you fall inactive your character will be exiled to the opposing court. If you’re exiled from both your character gets the boot.
Images
1. Use common sense with what images you use. No porn.
2. Make sure your sigs are tasteful and not overcrowded with a bunch of images.
3. Avatars=100 x 100 pixels.
4. Please, no hot linking.
Joining
1. You may join as any bloodline but just make sure to check the restriction list.
2. You can request a court but don’t be angry if you don’t get it. 9 times out of 10 you will get what you request, but we need to keep both courts balanced.
3. You cannot request magic but I try to take a character’s personality, appearance and background into consideration when picking it.
