She couldn’t help it.
Granted the green eyed nimbus hadn’t tried very hard to resist the temptation…oh temptation! Sweet and sinister whispering so many sweet ways to fill the boring hours…how could she resist? Maybe there was something aside from pompous posturing to her mother’s claim they came from a fae known as a goddess of chaos…well the mighty had certainly fallen hadn’t they? Not that the curly red haired creature cared much for history or records of beings so far gone their bone dust had long since scattered. The present was the problem! Boring, orderly, and so very dull…
At least it had been until she’d spiced things up!
Alas, experience had taught the nimbus that when a goblin finished beating the shit of another goblin it was wise to not be around. Partly because you could never be sure the thumping had sated the foolish beasts blood lust and second…well Kismet had a habit of being the cause of those fights. Goblins could rightly be called idiots hald the time…but it didn’t take a genius to tear off your head.
So chuckling under her breath the nimbus pulled up the hood of her red colored cloak and made herself scarce. Those graceful steps picking up their gleeful pace when shouts and snarls rang louder behind her. Oh boo! What if she missed something good? But reminding herself that trouble well made is its own reward the pale red haired woman followed twists and turns…
And was lost.
For a moment Kismet felt the faintest bit of annoyance. How had she ended up here? Wherever here was… yet the glittering quartzite walls and the mass of magical unnatural trees was a pleasing enough sight. So easily enough Kismet made her way through the network of trees, content that a little bit of chaos had found her for a change. Empty and echoing the cavern was beautiful and little cryptic….though Kismet preferred the heated whispering heart pounding of a crowd it was a nice change. For the moment at least, she kicked a stone and sent it soaring into the darkness.
“I’m ready to be amused now” the nimbus ordered to no one and nothing. She wasn’t really expecting an answer as she kicked another stone. But good things came to those who demanded! Or was it blackmailed? Ordered? She couldn’t recall…
