Shrugging her cloak back on, she nodded in acquiescence and lead him in the direction of the altar in silence. As she walked, she couldn't help but notice the buildings made of trees and the likes. She had almost been startled when he spoke.
Listening to his statement, glancing at him from the corner of her eye, she was silently amazed to hear of his participation in the war. Of course that was way before her time and she had never really bothered to learn but the basics of Alanor's history. She was more centered on the now, rather than the past. When she remembered her past, she tended to...wish for what was and became a little 'growly' with others for a while (or did stupid things that made her reminisces). However that did not mean she was not fascinated to learn new things and listen to stories.
As he spoke, she noted he spoke with pride...and fondness? She silently wondered what it had been like to fight in that war and end up as a Goblin Blade. To go from one thing to another...and while she was thinking about it, what was it like to go from a sleep like death to suddenly arisen? And How? All of these thoughts ended in more questions and Alysia couldn't help but feel lightly worried at what was happening.
Feeling his attention upon her once more, Alysia looked at him and frowned. It was a popular question these days it seemed. She contemplated over how to tell him then mentally shrugged. Maybe if he knew what was going on, he'd be able to figure out what was going on. Maybe even enlighten her as well.
"I do not even know where to begin sir. Most of what I know is little, but I will tell you what I know. While I was looking for the hunter of a slain ram in the mists, the Festival of Imbolc was besieged by a large group of shades. It was due to some strategic thinking that kept it from becoming a massacre. Then not long afterwards the eclipse came about. No one is really sure as to what is the cause or the why it is happening." Alysia took a small breath before continuing, "The slaugh have been sighted at night flying above. No one is quite sure as to their stand in this mess is, but they did show up with the Unseelie King Cel at the festival. Also their are rumors that the Drow have resurface and reside in the far reaches of Alanor. Their goals are unknown as well. The Queen...has not announced or done anything as of yet that we know of." She finished, sure she covered the basics of everything.
Thinking about her last statement about the Queen, Alysia would not say much more on her. She was no fool and would not publicly voice her doubts about the Queen where ears could easily hear. When it came to the Queen, Alysia felt confusion. She was loyal, don't get her wrong...but she felt as if the queen wasn't doing very...queeny things at the moment. That is why many are taking it upon themselves to stop whatever disaster was looming ahead for Alanor.
