Name: Cel
Gender: Male
Bloodline: Sidhe
Preferred mantel: Orb Weaving Spider, Gray Wolf, Black Scorpion
Court Preference: Unseelie
Appearance:Cel is handsome, even by the extremely high standards of the Sidhe. His eyes are two haunting pools of swirling blues; lighter shades intermingle with the darkest of navy like two cloudy orbs set into a greatly angular face, one which its flesh seem to be made from wax, perfectly and nearly free of impurities. Cel does not glow with an inner light nor does his hide hold any odd pigmentation, but instead the Unseelie King seems to shimmer ever so subtly with the delicacy of smoky quartz. If the light catches Cel in the right way, one will notice the shine, but normally the Unseelie King seems simply beautiful in a way that very few can put their finger on. He holds himself with a dark confidence, one that is akin to the shadows he commands.
Cel is not very tall for a Sidhe man, his height a less than impressive but still respectable six foot even. His shoulders are broad and his built is sizeable, but no one would ever call him large or stocky. And while there is muscle to Cel’s frame, his sinew is on the softer side; he lacks cobble stone abs, swollen pectorals, and bulging biceps, but his flesh is taut across his body nonetheless.
The King’s hair is a long dark mass of black tendrils, falling to the lower part of his neck in soft curls that do not quite curl into ringlets. Cel’s hair is on the thin side but eternal youth keeps him from worrying that it will ever be thinner than it is now.
The wardrobe choice of the sidhe varies from age to age, but currently he favors designer suits and tuxedos. Often he can be spotted wearing white cotton button down shirts with fancy, ornate jackets of a variety of colors.
Personality:With an unearthly beautiful face and the sidhe magic to match, Cel fancies himself above any other being. While not quite a narcissist, his vanity pushes the limit of being obsessive. Catching Cel glancing in a mirror or finding him surrounded with beautiful people (that remind him of his own beauty), is an everyday occurrence. Despite all of this Cel does not consider his beauty to be his greatest attribute and rarely thinks of it when weighing what makes him truly better than others. While arrogant, he is not arrogant because of his appearance.
Cel is quite the sadist. He delights in bloodshed, both in and outside the dueling ring. It is common knowledge that bedding the king is similar to wrestling with a lion; there can be no good favorable outcome. But although the King of the Unseelie is known for his twisted ways and his brutality, he is a level headed politician when it comes to making decisions involving his court. While Cel might destroy a beautiful face, if that face has any type of value to the court he will not hesitate to recruit them to his ranks, but keep a very close eye on them.
His reign hasn’t been long in comparison to most faerie monarchs nor is he old by comparison, so naturally Cel has many critics. Rumors that talks of rebellion spread like wildfire through his people, trouble Cel, and because of this he has become wary of competitors. Eager to avoid a civil dispute in his own court, Cel puts down challengers with his blade and will not back down in the face of a challenge. While some might view him as a spoiled prince turned king, he fathoms himself a savvy politico whose ability with the sword only enhances his prowess.
