So I might just be slow, but what is the deal with mantels now? Tattoos? Pets? Alternate forms? Is there even a point to them anymore?

Is the magic (flying, healing, etc) still the same? Sorry, after spending ten hours making the skin I didn't have time to hunt for everything that had changed.

From what I can tell, pretty much everything is the same! I don't recall ever reading (or writing, or rewriting) anything about charms, though. I think that information is older (Sky can correct me if I'm wrong) because we appear to have left it out of later versions of the site. (That is, I remember charms existing, but I don't remember reading official information about it.)

I got rid of the kith magic. The mantel stuff is really straight forward. You either have a physical mantel or you can make a physical transformation.
Kin, charms are from the earliest version of Alanor. Charms will play a much larger role in this version, however.
